Built in a laptop shop, for laptop shops

It started inside a multi-branch laptop shop. The same serial was typed twice, once at purchase and again at sale. Laptops went missing somewhere between branches. And profit changed every time someone looked, because each sheet worked it out its own way.

So the system was built with the shop, one release at a time. Every rule in it was written because something went wrong, or would have: a serial that can't be held twice, a transfer note that prints without prices, a refund capped at what was overpaid.

Now it's offered to other shops, with the same honesty about what's done and what's next. Every feature page says what isn't built yet, and every release is written up in the changelog.
